This is about as basic as it gets but the results are a pepper powder that almost smells as though you were sniffing a bag of barbeque chips. Heat is nice but not too intense.
Start by slicing peppers in half length-wise and removing stems and seeds. Arrange loosely on racks and dehydrate till dry and crispy. Grind to powder in food processor.
This powder is awesome as is but can be used as a base for chili powder.
